I promised to go with my friends to a party this weekend. But suddenly, Bill, a family friend from Australia arrived, and my parents want me to stay at home to see him.
I think you can do both things, I mean, you can recieve him on the airport, and go with him and your friends to the party. Thus, everyone are happy, above all Bill, because he will have good welcome. My suggestion is try it. Lucia Carrero Garcia 1 D
If I were in that kind of situation I'd stay at home as your parents told you. Surely you have a lot of partys to go but you could only see Bill once because he lives far away, so the sooner you explain that to your friend, the better. Zaida Fortunato 1BachD
My advice is to stay at home with Bill. So you can take the opportunity to be with a friend of yours who comes from Australia just to see you, that is not something that happens every day, not as a party, that there will be many more, so, don't worry!
