Helen, the first thing that you should do in that situation is to contact your neighbours, because maybe you thought that they were in Hawaii but you were wrong, or maybe there is someone that is looking after their dog for example. If they tell you that nobody had to be in their house, then the best thing you can do is to call the police to discover what is happening.
First of all its to be sure that the person that os un the house its a familiar/friend or someone trying to steal something, so first thing its to call your neighbours to get that info. If its someone trying to steal something automatically call the police Zacarías Calzado Reca 1A
Don't worry Helen,it may be a friend of them, who is watering the plants or something like that. And if you think it can be a thief, just call your neighbours so you make sure you ruin their holidays in Hawaii!
